Renault Fluence manufactured at the Chennai plant, Fluence is an upmarket model that will be selling through the first fourteen outlets making up Renault’s new Indian network. Renault Fluence, which is first Renault branded car in India that is being showcased at its Chennai plant, which will be available in both petrol (2 litre engine) and diesel (1.5 litre engine) options. Renault Fluence is powered by a 1.5-litre diesel motor with 112 bhp, while the petrol version is a 2.0-litre motor with 135 bhp. The diesel is a basic specification car with a stereo and four-speakers, airbags, ABS and ESP as standard, while the petrol version comes with leather all around, cruise control, USB/ aux, air-vents at the rear, parking sensors, leather wrapped steering wheel, netted screens among others.

Renault Fluence Sedan is a C+ segment measures 4,618 mm in length, 1,813 mm in width, 1,488 mm in height and has 2,703 mm wheelbase, sedan which has competitive cars such as the Chevrolet Cruze, Toyota Corolla Altis, Skoda Laura and Honda Civic.

The Fluence petrol variant has 135 bhp of maximum power and 190 Nm of maximum torque. The petrol motor is mated to a 6-speed automatic (CVT) transmission. The Fluence diesel is powered by a 1.5 litre dCI diesel engine which delivers 105 bhp of maximum power and 240 Nm of maximum torque. The diesel motor is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
